A new cold room was commissioned due to expanding orders and larger need fo capacity in the future. A twin 100% back up refrigeration design was applied, with a rotation control panel. 60 meter pipes runs also provided a challenge for selection of condensing units.
Searle Evaporators with BLYGOLD spray covering were used for extra evaporator protection in a harsh environment.

This site previously had air conditioning system, legislation change with refrigerant R22 gas has made the customer update to high efficiency Mitsubishi Electric R32 split systems, using a range of internal units, from wall mount to ceiling mounted.

CONDENSER & EVAPORATOR REPLACEMENT
This particular site already had a current running system, the condenser was in need of replacing, the initial installation took place in the week, using a crane to hoist into position onto a pre built structure, designed and completed by a local metal fabrication company for us. Final connection over a weekend with conversion from R404a gas to R448a to comply with legislation. The evaporator was lifted into position and mounted to the current fixing positions, a like for like model was purchased to make the replacement evaporator a smooth installation.

Refrigeration & Ventilation
The sited had several issues with the refrigeration pack and also an issue with high ambient air for the internally mounted condensers, due to building control, the condensers could not be mounted external. The existing refrigeration pack controlled both low/high temperature systems, we identified that a split in refrigeration systems was required to move the customer forward and keep operational, a separate remote pack was installed for the high temperature refrigerated multipack cabinets, while a separate low temperature pack was installed for the display freezers, with summer months bring high ambient temperatures , especially with no fresh air source, we created one, design, supply, install of this fresh air system, with pre filters and inverter control for the fan to maximise efficiency.

BESPOKE REFRIGERATED DISPLAY
The coffee shop in the catering department at The Christie Hospital required a replacement refrigerated display, design, building, and installation was carried out to fit the design brief, stainless steel frame, with multiple shelves, using LED lighting, with rear loading doors and front customer side sliding doors, giving energy efficiency with a closed display.

REPLACEMENT WATER CHILLER
This project started from a winning tender, the previous HVAC chiller had failed substantially and with the age, a modern replacement was required, but due to the old chillers location, a crane lift was not possible, manual dismantling was carried out of the previous chiller and new stainless steel pipe using press fittings were used to mount the new chiller in a different location some 70 meters away, providing future service and repairs with easier access.
